Carl Ransom Rogers war ein US-amerikanischer Psychologe und Psychotherapeut, dessen herausragende Leistung in der Entwicklung der klientenzentrierten Gesprächstherapie und dem Ausbau der Humanistischen Psychologie besteht.

Der von Rogers geschaffene klientenzentrierte Ansatz ist heute u. a. sowohl fester Bestandteil der Gesprächsführung im Rahmen von Therapiegesprächen, als auch in der generellen Gesprächsführung der alltäglichen pädagogischen Arbeit mit Klienten. Wikipedia
