Baldur Benedikt von Schirach war ein Politiker und Reichsjugendführer der NSDAP während der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus.
Schirach gehörte zu den 24 im Nürnberger Prozess gegen die Hauptkriegsverbrecher vor dem Internationalen Militärgerichtshof angeklagten Personen und wurde am 1. Oktober 1946 wegen Verbrechens gegen die Menschlichkeit zu 20 Jahren Haft verurteilt, jedoch von der Anklage der Vorbereitung eines Angriffskrieges freigesprochen.
