Valéry Marie René Giscard d’Estaing [valeˈʀi ʒisˌkaʀdɛsˈtɛ̃] , im Französischen oft auch kurz Giscard oder VGE genannt, ist ein französischer Politiker der UDF. Von 1974 bis 1981 war er französischer Staatspräsident.
