Ibn Taimiya, mit vollem Namen Taqī ad-Dīn Ahmad ibn Taimīya war ein islamischer Gelehrter . Er war Anhänger der hanbalitischen Rechtsschule , sodass seine Auffassungen in Theologie und Fiqh gemeinhin als hanbalitisch betrachtet werden. Er gilt als Inspirator des modernen Islamismus. Seine Lehre bildet die maßgebliche Grundlage des heutigen Salafismus konservativer Auslegung. Wikipedia
