Yamashita Tomoyuki war ein japanischer General, welcher für die schnelle japanische Eroberung der malaiischen Halbinsel und Singapurs zu Beginn des Pazifikkriegs sowie die Verteidigung von Luzon in den Philippinen zu dessen Ende Bekanntheit erlangte.
