Peter Sellers, CBE , war ein britischer Komiker und Filmschauspieler. Der Spezialist für Auftritte in den unterschiedlichsten Rollen und Verkleidungen wurde spätestens als trotteliger Inspektor Clouseau in der Filmreihe Der rosarote Panther bekannt. Dessen charakteristische deutsche Synchronstimme wurde von Georg Thomalla gesprochen.
