Madame Nhu, geb. Trần Lệ Xuân, war eine Schwägerin des ersten Präsidenten der Republik Vietnam, Ngô Đình Diệm. Da der Präsident unverheiratet war, fungierte sie als inoffizielle First Lady. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann Ngô Đình Nhu übte sie in den 1950er und 1960er Jahren großen Einfluss auf die Politik in Vietnam aus. Wikipedia
