Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, GBM, GBS, JP, ist eine chinesische Politikerin. Vom 1. Juli 2017 bis 30. Juni 2022 war sie Chief Executive, also Regierungschefin, der chinesischen Sonderverwaltungszone Hongkong. Sie war die erste Frau, die dieses Amt bekleidete. Von 2012 bis 2017 hatte sie den Posten der Chief Secretary of Administration, der Generalsekretärin der Hongkonger Regierungsverwaltung, inne – unter dem damaligen Regierungschef Leung Chun-ying. Die Amtszeit von Lam als Chief Executive of Hong kong endete am 30. Juni 2022 und sie gab offiziell bekannt, aus familiären Gründen keine zweite Amtszeit als Hongkonger Regierungschefin anzustreben. Der Amtsnachfolger Carrie Lams als Regierungschef der Sonderverwaltungszone Hongkong ist der am 8. Mai 2022 gewählte John Lee Ka-chiu.
