John Randolph Thune ist ein amerikanischer Politiker . Seit 2005 ist er US-Senator für den Bundesstaat South Dakota. Von 1997 bis 2003 hatte er dem US-Repräsentantenhaus für seinen Bundesstaat angehört und war bereits 2002 erfolglos für den US-Senat angetreten.
